Is it possible to send a parcel to a friend as a gift while I get billed instead?
Yes certainly. At the checkout you will be prompted to fill in the "Billing information" (email, address) and the "Shipping Information" (email, address).
If you would like to send a gift to somone different than yourself, simply put their details in the "Shipping Information" and insert your personal details only in the "Billing Information" section. Easy.
What currency are the products shown in?
The currency is in US dollars. The majority of our clients find it much easier to use this currency so we have converted all our prices to US. The convenience is immediately percieved without having to go through confusing exchange rates information. We will always have the lowest prices no matter the currency conversion with shipping added. Aussie Food Shop makes no profit whatsoever on delivery charges.
How does the delivery work?
Easy, once you have completed your selections, you will be automatically logged into the Verisign secure online checkout. Depending on the gross weight of purchase (which you will calculate at the checkout) you will be able to choose a shipping method. We offer International Airmail & Express Post International delivery. Costs vary depending of the Delivery Zone.
Aussie Food Shop delivers worldwide using Australia Post. Delivery times cannot be guaranteed.

Aussie Food Shop delivers using Australia Post and makes no profit whatsoever on post charges.

Yes unless stated 'out of stock' on the item listed on our website.
It might happen that we do not have the particular colour/size of a certain product. In that case we will attempt to contact you to reach an agreement either to proceed with the order or keep it on hold until such items do become available. It is our priority to keep in touch with our Clients, and most of all keep you satisfied.
Why was an item/s removed from the order?
Item/items might be removed from your order shipped due to an incorrectly selected weight bracket at the checkout. As stated in the checkout page: "if an incorrect weight bracket is selected, your order will be processed but Aussie Food Shop reserves the right to remove item/s from your order to allow for shipment for the bracket chosen". Please pay extra attention when calculating the shipping weight of your order, if you are unsure please send us an email before placing the order. Also, we are required to state the contents and value of each parcel dispatched. Customs duties may be payable and are the responsibility of the purchaser/receiver of the order. We advise checking with your local customs agency before placing an order as we do not provide a refund when items are refused due to customs regulations. Customs policy change from country and state and are continuosly updated. Some Customs may inpect your parcel and remove any items prohibited in your country. It is your responsibility to check that the items purchased are not prohibited in your country. We do not offer refunds if items have been removed by Customs due to these reasons.
Are the online transactions secure?
You may notice when you click to checkout on your website that you are redirected to the URL https://www.secure.systemsecure.com. The 's' after 'http' indicates 'security'. All information being sent or recieved is using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer). SSL is an advanced encrypption tecnique that will ensure secure data transfer between your browser and our server. As the internet evolves, so will we, by adding new security layers and filters and/or migrating to more sophisticated and latest screening systems.

Chocolate disclaimer
All our products are carefully packed and never exposed to direct sun, the company cannot be held responsible for the melting of products while in transit.
The packages are collected from inside our store from the couriers and are not left outdoors waiting for them to be picked up. We put notes on the package stating 'fragile' or 'containing chocolate - not to be left in sun', and keep all products cool before shipping. But, once the products leave our premises, unfortunately we have no control.
Return Policy & Refunds
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please notify Aussie Food Shop via e-mail for a return authorization and agreement. We do not accept items returned after 15 calendar days and in any case, that are damaged, not in the condition originally supplied, or due to an incorrect address provided by you. We are required to state the contents and value of each parcel dispatched. Customs duties may be payable and are the responsibility of the purchaser/receiver of the order. Cost of return cannot be covered by Aussie Food Shop. Once we receive and review your package, we will notify you by e-mail.
You may return your parcel for refund or replacement within 15 calendar days of the shipment date from Aussie Food Shop in Sydney. Postal stamp on your returned parcel will be proof that your parcel was returned within the 15 calendar days. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. When you return your item/items, please indicate the reason for the return. All items shipped by Aussie Food Shop must be returned in their original state. You may want to insure your return; we cannot be responsible for lost or misdirected returns by you.
Aussie Food Shop is not responsible for parcel/s that do not arrive to the address stated by you. Once the parcel has left our premises, it is in the hand of Australia Post, its couriers and other unknowm carriers in the destination country.
Only Express Post International will allow the parcel to be tracked by us and you thanks to the tracking number issued. Normal airmail post, although cheaper provides no tracking of your parcel/s. Please ask for insurance on your parcel for an additional small fee if necessary, to insure, that if the parcel/s is lost, a refund can be provided by Australia Post (if found being there responsibility and the parcel was not dispatched from Australia). We don't take responsibility for the orders once they get dispatched. We do not offer refunds on lost parcels.
Although very rarely, unfortunately parcels can get lost or stay in customs for prolonged period of time. We will lodge an investigation with Australia Post regarding lost parcels if requested. It may take anywhere between 1-2 months for the Post Office to get back to us. We will keep you updated as soon as we have some information. Once the parcel has been shipped, the only thing we can do is lodge an investigation with Australia Post. We do not offer refunds on lost parcels.

Can I ask for a refund?
Only for change of mind if you have placed and payed for your order and it has gone though our system already and you no longer want to go ahead with the order. We will refund you the total of your order minus an administration fee of $10 (subject to change). Please refer also to "Return Policy and Refund" that is also answer to this section.
Can I track my parcel?
In order to be able to track your parcel you must select "Express Post International". Australia Post issues a tracking code which you can use to check directly online. If you select "International Airmail" Australia Post does not issue a tracking code.
